Treatment Approach
I utilize Integrative Therapy. Integrative therapy is a form of psychotherapy that combines different therapeutic approaches and techniques to address the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of a person’s life.
This approach recognizes that every individual is unique and may benefit from different types of therapy, and thus, seeks to tailor the therapy to the specific needs and preferences of the client. Integrative therapy draws on various theoretical orientations, such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential, and incorporates techniques from different modalities.
The goal of integrative therapy is to provide a comprehensive and holistic treatment that supports the client’s self-awareness, growth, and healing. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership between the therapist and the client, and focuses on developing the client’s strengths and resources.
Overall, integrative therapy offers a flexible and personalized approach that can be adapted to the unique needs and goals of each client, making it a popular choice for people seeking a more individualized and holistic form of therapy.
Online Psychological Services
The sessions are provided online, via Zoom services.
Recent research has established that online therapy is as effective, and sometimes, more effective than in-person therapy. Online sessions work much the same way as traditional therapy sessions. In the online face-to-face sessions, I provide a caring, nonjudgmental, and safe space, and utilize the same therapeutic interventions as in in-person sessions.
Benefits of Online Psychotherapy
The benefits include the comfort and convenience of meeting from your own home, or other private place, without having to deal with transportation, or taking time off work. Online sessions are safe, practical, and convenient, and increase the accessibility of therapy.
Does online therapy and counseling work?
Several studies confirm that receiving help online is as effective as in-person counseling / psychotherapy.
